손민수 [son-min-su]
손민수 (Son Min-soo) is a term used in Korea to describe someone who copies or imitates another person's style or actions, similar to a copycat.
💥 Why is Copycat called 손민수?
손민수 is a character's name in the Korean drama Cheese in the Trap.
She was a college friend of the main character, Hongseol. In the show, Son Min-soo copied everything about Hongseol—her hairstyle, clothes, and even small things she bought. Because she tried to be too much like Hongseol, it caused problems, and her character seemed negative.
However, nowadays, people use 손민수 to describe when someone copies their favorite celebrity or person by buying clothes or accessories that the celebrity wears because they look good. It can be used both positively and negatively, depending on the situation!
손민수하다 [son-min-su-ha-da]

🔎 When the verb 하다 (to do (something)) modifies the noun 아이템 (item), 하다 changes to 한.
